Sunday Market, which has a history of over 300 years, is an important market for Kochi’s citizens.  As many as 500 open booths are lined in a row eastward from Kochi Castle for about 1km, displaying all kinds of goods from rarities to everyday items, including fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood, and antiques.  It is recommended that you go in the morning while there are still a lot of items.
