Certification of Seal Registration

To use your registered seal you may also need to show a Certificate of  Seal Registration.

To obtain this certificate, you must bring your seal registration card. If you don't have the seal registration card, the application for the certificate will not be accepted, even if you bring the seal itself. 

If you apply in proxy, give that person your seal registration card and make sure he or she has the correct details for your name, address and date of birth. A letter of proxy will not be necessary. The seal registration certificate acts as a "copy" of  the registered seal.  

If you lose either the registered seal or the seal registration card, report the loss in person to the Seal Registration Service Counter.

• 印鑑登録証を必ず持ってきてください。
• 実印をお持ちになっても、印鑑登録証の提示がありませんと印鑑登録証明書の交付を受けることはできません。
• 代理の方に依頼する場合は、印鑑登録証を預けてください。委任状は必要ありません。あなたの住所、氏名、生年月日を間違いなく代理の方に教えてください。
• 印鑑登録証によって発行される印鑑登録証明書は、登録された印影の「写し」です。
• 印鑑及び印鑑登録証を紛失したときは、印鑑登録の窓口へ本人が届出てください。
